Welcome to St John's College Boat Club, Oxford
We are a fun and committed college boat club located in central Oxford.
Training takes place in Godstow and on the Isis. We compete in both annual Oxford Bumps races as well as external regattas such as Wallingford Head and WEHORR. Rowers of all skill are welcome, from intensive daily training for first boats to 'beer boats', crews that just turn up and race. Contact us to get involved!

2025 Trinity
Summer VIIIs 2025
After a tough selection process and training schedule, both the men's and women's sides put out 3 boats each, a whopping 54 rowers! After a number of successful years, the competition was tough, but this didn't stop W3 and M2 going +3, both narrowly missing out on blades due to unlucky results on the river on the final day.
2025 Hilary
Torpids 2025
After a week's training camp on the Isis, the men's side are up another 47 places this year! That's 101 places in the last two years. The women's side were unfortunately less lucky; their crew was scratched due to event oversubscription.
2025 Hilary
Torpids 2025
Only the top three division were run this year, in halves, due to high stream. This unfortunately meant that only the first boats could race. The women bumped up on the final day, while the men were bumped on their first. See bumps.live for a good illustration.
